On the Verge: Prima Materia

On the Verge: Prima Materia

Look at me and tell me what you see. Tell me you see me. Imperfect. Resilient. Growing. Tell me you see. An artist. A fighter. A human. Someone. More than a book cover. More than my defences allow. Tell me you see. Someone whose skin cannot contain them. Whose mind is a wild fire. Tell me…that only I have the power to tell you who I am. Prima Materia is a visual story telling experience, created by an international cast of artists, combining the arts of alchemy and theatre in order to create human transformation. An exploration of what makes us who we are, the shadows that shape us, the radiant light that we emit, the stories that have been stitched into our skin. Credits Featuring: Marie Gouault, Shelton Makora, Luke Wroe, and Giulia Xeureb. Written by and in collaboration with the cast. Director and dramaturge: Ryan Napier.
