Merchant City Trad Trail

Merchant City Trad Trail

After the sell-out success of previous years, Glasgow Music City Tours are back with more entertaining walking tours designed especially for Celtic Connections. The two hour Merchant City Trad Trail traces the story of Glasgow's folk and roots scene, from legendary sessions in long-standing bars to today’s Celtic Connections headliners. Walking some of Glasgow's oldest streets, our expert guides share tales of the songwriters and storytellers who have shaped the city’s vibrant folk culture.  The tour will feature several indoor stops and the opportunity to warm your hands with a cup of coffee, or something stronger. Please note, this tour has one venue which is not wheelchair accessible. All tours start from Scottish Music Centre, Candleriggs, G1 1NQTours last approx 2 hours.
