Scottish Open Badminton Grand Prix

Scottish Open Badminton Grand Prix

Glasgow's Emirates Arena will be the home to the Scottish Open Badminton Championships, being held from Wednesday 19-Sunday 23 November 2014.

Part of the Badminton World Federation Grand Prix event series, last year saw the first ever Grand Prix event in Scotland, giving fans the chance to see world class badminton and celebrate home grown success stories as Scotland's Robert Blair and Imogen Bankier took the mixed doubles crown.

This year's Scottish Open promise to be even bigger and better than ever, following the extraordinary success of the 2014 Commonwealth Games where some of the best players in the world tasted the fantastic atmosphere and top class facilities Glasgow has to offer.

Scottish Commonwealth Games silver medallist Kirsty Gilmour and bronze medallists Blair and Bankier are again set to compete against a host of international stars as Glasgow's Emirates Arena once more plays host to world class action in the world's fastest racquet sport.
