Aged 14 - 24 years and want to try something new or choose activities you know you love? Maryhill Open Award Centre offers The Duke of Edinburgh Award at all 3 levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each participant will complete 4 sections; Volunteering, Physical, Skill and Expedition. You can choose what motivates you. Timescales will vary dependant on level being completed. Training is provided such as First Aid, Cooking, Camp Craft, Map Reading, Nutrition, 1-2-1 Mentoring. Achieving the Award will give you skills, confidence and a view on life that everyone is looking for from employers to colleges and universities. Free placements are available subject to criteria.
