Originally built in 1417 the Provand's Lordship is one of only a handful of surviving medieval buildings in Glasgow.  In order for you to immerse yourself in medieval Glasgow the rooms are furnished in 17th-century funiture that was donated by Sir William Burrell as well as a series of historic royal portraits including Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots and Henry the VIII.
