Pollok House is a grand country house set in the scenic surroundings of Pollok Country Park and in easy reach of Glasgow City Centre.
Pollok House was home to the Maxwell family and gives a real taste of upstairs/downstairs life. Above stairs, the lavish family rooms are packed full of period furniture and furnishings. Below stairs the vast servants’ quarters show the realities of running a country house. A vast art collection amassed by the family adorns the walls, including an extensive number of Spanish paintings and portraits. Furthermore, a new space opened within the building will host touring and one-off exhibitions.
Once you have explored the house why not enjoy a delicious lunch or afternoon tea in the the Edwardian Kitchen, book a guided tour, or take part in their very own escape room experience - Escape the Past.
