Ox & Finch - Bib Gourmand
Recently awarded the Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide to Great Britain and Ireland 2015, Ox and Finch offer a great range of seasonal tapas style dishes. This recent addition to Sauchiehall Street was launched by the former head chef of the McLaren Formula One team, and their signature dishes include tartare of roe deer, braised ox cheek and roast skate wing.
The Fish People Café - Best Seafood Restaurant
Awarded the Best Seafood restaurant at the Glasgow Restaurant Awards, the Fish People Café is a vibrant seafood restaurant that's a great choice for any fish lover. Opened by the fishmongers right next door, the restaurant offers a variety of fish dishes from Barra scallops to yellow fin tuna.
Burger Meats Bun - Best Burger Award
While working in a Michelin star restaurant, the owners of Burger Meats Bun decided they wanted to start their own business, making quality burgers that people would talk about. And they've done just that, having been awarded the Best Burger award from Yelp Glasgow in 2014!
Akbars - Best Curry Restaurant
Winner of the Best Restaurant at the Scottish Curry Awards in 2014, Akbars serves up incredible South Indian Cuisine. If you are a fan of tear and share bread then their family naan is for you!
La Lanterna - Best Italian
La Lanterna is a Glasgow staple, having been named the Best Italian at the Glasgow Restaurant Awards (2012) and the Scottish Entertainment Awards (2013 and 2014). In ownership of the same family for over 42 years, this fabulous restaurant offers a fantastic range of Italian dishes as well as an extensive wine list selected from the finest vineyards in Italy.
